$1.20 a pencil - made out of newspapers so environments and they have gourmet smells! If we sell $600 worth we make $200

Rotary Shoe Shine Monday 16th July

Definite details and times to come
When: July 16th Monday
Where: Guide hall and Bowling club to join rotary meeting
Older Guides to attend - Meet @ Guide Hall
Molly, Mackenzie & Jasmine to show photos and experiences of JACT
Shoe polishing & Pizzas at the Guide Hall.

We need to bring:

• black, tan, neutral shoe polish (What colours you have)
• Brushes
• Rags/brushes
• raffle ticket book & sticky tape for marking shoes (1 ticket in a shoe 1 ticket to the person it belongs to
• Laundry baskets - to transport shoes

Garden Party

When? Spring - likely September
Where: Tinny Atkinson's Garden
Activity Ideas -

• Charge entry
• High tea?, Girls serve around the garden,
• Guiding families do the slices etc
• sell potted plants,
• invite garden club to assist us re potted plants (as they use our hall they might support us and enjoy the day)
• Guest speaker (hmm Viv would love to talk about worm farms as she has 9 stories of worm farms and 9 compost heaps on the go! :-) Does that go with a high tea? LOL
• Could sell Smencils & first aid kits etc
• Could sell raffle tickets - seek donation or cost price purchase from gardening stores
• Advertise via garden shops, garden club, fliers, 2WCRFM
